Why we need a 10th intelligence!

Being able to effectively communicate with a machine

Howard Gardner initially wrote about the 7 intelligences back in 1983. He has since then discovered an 8th one, which he called the natural intelligence.
And most recently the spiritual intelligence has arrived.

To be successful in the future I will argue that we need yet another intelligence! The ability to communicate effectively with an AI. We could call it AI-Whispering or the less fancy AI-conversational skills.

Creativity in the future will among other things also be the ability to pose the good questions when we interact with Midjourney and ChatGPT or some of the many other great AI-tools that already exists. And many many more will come in a near future.

Besides the ability to get the desired results of the tools, this intelligence also includes knowledge about how the language models works (although it can be on a superficial level). We need at least a little bit of knowledge about how they actually work, to be able to detect, when we are being scammed or something is not right.

We also need this in order to figure out what they can be used for and also what they absolutely should not be used for.

In the coming future I will dive further into this area. Hopefully I will get help from a lot of other people interested in our future since I am soon starting a community of Future Scouts.

The future needs strong communities and in this one we will change the world. At least a little bit.
